Mike fell in love with the sport of tennis during his high school years in Whitney Point, New York. In June 1995, he began a 10-year, full-time tennis teaching career, receiving certifications from the U.S. Professional Tennis Association and Professional Tennis Registry. After transitioning to a new career, in the U.S. Air Force, Mike continued helping players of all ages and abilities learn tennis on a part-time basis.
